This is a project that I've been working on for a while using the elements of fire, air earth and water. Not elements in the technical sense, but whatever. I realize that I am often more clever in my draft form, because originally this was called Elemental, My Dear Watson, but somewhere along the way the Watson part got dropped. Take a look around, hope you enjoy.
This project is more of a fauxtography project. It is the patterns made by soap bubbles combined with several famous constellations. I'm no astronomer, but I can see and identify a few pictures in the sky. The interesting thing to me, though, is that so many of them are interconnected into one great epic, written in fire on the night sky.
In November 2011 I took a trip to England and Italy with my younger brother. We never met the Grizwalds, but I did take some pictures. This is some of the evidence of that trip.
For Thanksgiving 2013 I took a trip to Guatemala with my little brother. We hopped in a car and spent a week traveling all over the country. Here are a few photographs that I took on that trip. Hope you enjoy them.
This is similar to my constellations gallery, except that the constellations here are the signs of the Zodiac.
This is a project I have been working on using glow sticks as a light source.
Just a few pictures of smoke. Not photoshopped. I picked these ones because they reminded me of looking at the clouds when I was younger. If you look for a while they start to look like things. So take a look and maybe you'll see something besides just wisps of smoke.
This is a project I am working on this year. If you want to know more about the project, visit the blog at pixellogia.net.
52 Roses is a tribute to Pop. He used to give roses from the yard to people who he met. In his memory I'm taking a set of 52 rose pictures and giving them away.
